Cattails Golf Club is a challenging 18 hole, public golf course situated on 130 acres along State Road 13, just north of State Road 37 in Elwood, Madison County, Indiana. The original nine holes was designed by renowned golf course architect William Diddel as a highly playable links styled layout, developed in 1924 as the former Elwood Country Club.

During 2006, Cattails Golf Club was expanded to its current 18 hole track with the addition of the new nine holes on 68 acres of land surrounding Duck Creek. Designed by golf course architect Ron Kern, the new back nine routing plan features more dramatic ravine topography, with multiple creek crossings, elevated tees/greens and dense woodland areas.

The original front nine holes offer bluegrass tees and fairways, with bentgrass greens; while the new nine features bentgrass tees fairways and greens, served by an automated, double-row irrigation system. Cattails offers four sets of tees and plays as long as 6,641 yards, within a par 71 layout offering a 72.5 Stroke Rating and a 132 Slope. A practice range also adjoins the clubhouse.

Cattails Golf Club also includes a full service 10,000 square foot clubhouse facility, which includes a well-scaled pro shop, Beyond the Greens Restaurant and Pub, dining room, golfers lounge and private banquet room. A full range of outings, banquet and meeting services are available within the Clubhouse.
